DFW SECURITY PROTECTIVE FORCE
MISSION STATEMENT
 
DFW SECURITY PROTECTIVE FORCE guard services consist of individuals dedicated to meet the client’s security needs. We are committed to safeguarding your company’s assets and being as diligent and dependable in discharging assigned duties. We pledge to be receptive to all your needs, observantly survey your premises, use our professional presence to deter unlawful or undesired acts, and to actively do reports on security activities on and about the premises.

While serving as your security, we will:

• Protect Proprietary and Classified Information

• Assist visitors and serve as concerned public relations representatives.

• Serve as a deterrent to thieves and vandals.

• Look for and report potential hazards.

• Restrict access to authorized or unauthorized people.

• Watch for use of illegal drugs and consumption of alcohol.

• Monitor materials leaving the facility, helping ensure that company property does not leave without proper authorization.

• Protection of life and property within the building.

• Prompt investigation of all incidents or accidents observed or reported to security personnel.

• Notification of civil authorities such as police, fire or ambulance services as needed.

• Reporting to Facilities Management all fire and safety hazards that cannot be corrected on the spot.

• Patrol parking areas to monitor the client’s properties and serve as deterrent to vandals, thefts and misconduct.

• No additional authority or duties shall be assumed unless specifically directed to do so by Facilities Management.

GENERAL PATROL DUTIES
DFW Security Protective Force Officers use their professional presence to promote security and discourage unacceptable activities on the Client’s properties. Officers avoid establishing predictable patrol patterns. While patrolling the entire area, DFW Security Protective Force Officers are AWARE and OBSERVANT.

Examples:
• Make sure the premises are secure.
• Patrol buildings, Parking lots, and Garages.
• Check restrooms and stairways.
• Monitor loading docks.
• Lock out elevators when not in use.
• Use all your senses to alert you to anything unusual or different.
• Remember to look in directions (up, around, on the ground, to the side) while patrolling some important items to look for include.
• Unlocked doors, gates, or other kinds of enclosures.
• People in unexpected places or restricted area.
• Intruders or suspicious persons.
• Employees disregarding company rules.
• Leaks and spills.
• Unusual noises or unusual shadows.
• Temperature changes.
• Burned out lights.
• Broken fences out triggers or gates.

FIRE AND SAFETY PREVENTION
DFW Security Protective Force Officers look and report for anything that may cause a fire or endanger personal safety.

Examples: • Smoking, shorting, or overheating appliances(stoves, coffee pots, percolators, microwaves)
• Frayed wires.
• Obstructed staircases, doorways, entrances, or exists.
• Items stored in areas clearly marked as safety clear zones.
• Suspicious odors or fumes.
• Faulty fire safety equipment (hanging smoke detectors) unsealed extinguishers, taped up detectors, broken sprinkler heads
• Flammable material (outside protective areas)
• Smoldering cigarette or cigar butts, or pipe ashes
• People smoking near flammable materials or non-smoking areas
• People operating electrical equipment in areas saturated with volatile gases
• People use steel tools near spray booths(sparks could set off fire)
• Improperly placed combustibles (oil rags and wasted oil mops)
• Decaying organic materials, linseed oil and coal accumulation
